The biggest upset of the week belonged to West, who took down 679th ranked Edison, 27-6.
St. Mary's extended the longest winning streak in Tri-City this week by beating Stagg, 43-34. This was the team's fifth consecutive win.
The Delta Kings' offense was tough to stop this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Wayne Brooks threw for 356 and three touchdowns and Andre Lindsey had 161 yards receiving. On the ground Brooks chipped in 143 yards. Davon Gillum helped Stagg's passing attack out by catching seven balls for 118 yards.
Stagg's Brooks and Lester Williams have formed a dynamic duo this season, leading the league in both passing and receiving yards. Brooks has thrown for 2442 yards this season, while Williams, a 5-foot-5 receiver, has 36 catches for 869 yards. McNair's Jonathan Stark leads the league in rushing yards with 1181.
A big matchup in the league this week will be when the Eagles take on St. Mary's. At the moment, McNair is in third, while Tony Franks' team is in second.
The Wolfpack moved up to 719 from 783 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in Tri-City. West was able to make move up by besting the Vikings 27-6.
