Soccer Recap: Big Valley Christian Takes a Loss

Big Valley Christian was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat. They came up short against the Calaveras Red Hawks, falling 7-2. The Lions were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 4-1.

Owen Reynolds and Michael Flood scored both of Big Valley Christian's goals, bringing their combined season tally to four goals.

Big Valley Christian's loss dropped their record down to 0-8. As for Calaveras, they now have a winning record of 7-6-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Big Valley Christian will head out to challenge Riverbank at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Calaveras, they will venture away from home to square off against Bret Harte at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
