Bruton Wins Seventh-Straight Thanks to Darrin Banks-Harrold

Bruton picked up their seventh consecutive win on Friday thanks in part to Darrin Banks-Harrold. Banks-Harrold was dynamite, making five total tackles (1.0 for loss).

For the year, Banks-Harrold has averaged 5.9 total tackles per game. It gets even more impressive: after seven games last season, he was only averaging 10.57 rushing yards per game. This year he is averaging 73.43 rushing yards.

Bell Came Up Big in Bruton's 53-0 Victory

Ashton Bell was instrumental in extending Bruton's winning streak to seven on Friday. Arcadia had no answer to Bell as he threw for 181 yards and three touchdowns on only 15 passes.

Bell and Bruton will welcome York at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Panthers had to take a loss when they last met the Falcons, but Bell had little to do with the loss: he rushed for 55 yards and a touchdown, and also threw for 59 yards and a touchdown. Can he match (or beat) that performance?

A Season-Best Performance from Luke Bryant Leads Grafton over Warhill

Grafton came up short on Friday despite Luke Bryant delivering his best game to date. Bryant threw for 262 yards and three touchdowns while completing 72.7% of his passes.

Grafton is on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-6. Bryant and Grafton will challenge Tabb at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Makale Barnett Makes It Two for Grafton

Keeping Bryant company is Makale Barnett, a fellow Grafton player. He picked up 67 receiving yards and a touchdown, and also rushed for 62 yards. He got the majority of those receiving yards when he pulled down a pass and took off for a gain of 55 yards.

If history really does repeat itself, Barnett might just drop another big game when he faces off against Tabb on Friday. When Barnett last faced the Tigers back in October of 2023, he rushed for 118 yards and a touchdown.
