Softball Recap: Triton Comes Up Short

Triton was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They lost 9-2 to the Mishawaka Marian Knights.

Triton saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jillian Bules, who went 1-for-2 with two runs.

Triton's loss dropped their record down to 1-15. As for Mishawaka Marian, their win ended a five-game drought on the road and puts them at 4-10.

Triton has already played their next match (against Culver Academies), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Mishawaka Marian, they will welcome New Prairie at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The last three games the Cougars have played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
