Basketball Recap: North Stanly Picks Up Third Straight Win at Home

North Stanly won the last time they faced South Stanly and things went their way on Monday too. The North Stanly Comets walked away with a 33-21 win over the South Stanly Rowdy Rebel Bulls. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Comets.

Despite the loss, South Stanly still got an impressive performance from Akerria Robinson, who posted three points and eight boards.

North Stanly pushed their record up to 13-11 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. The wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 29.3 points over those games. As for South Stanly, their loss dropped their record down to 1-20.

North Stanly didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 72-21 defeat against Albemarle on the 18th. South Stanly does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
