Basketball Game Preview: Eau Claire Shamrocks vs. Clinton Red Devils

Eau Claire has won three straight games at home, while Clinton has won three straight on the road, but those streaks won't matter much on Tuesday. The Shamrocks will welcome the Red Devils at 7:30 p.m. Both come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

On Saturday, Eau Claire had just enough and edged out West-Oak 45-42.

Meanwhile, Clinton earned a 59-52 win over Woodruff on Monday.

Eau Claire now has a winning record of 7-6. As for Clinton, their victory bumped their record up to 10-8.

Eau Claire couldn't quite finish off Clinton when the teams last played back in February of 2025 and fell 51-48. Can the Shamrocks avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
