Volleyball Recap: Mira Mesa Wins Going Away Against High Tech SD

Mira Mesa had to skate by with only a one-set margin when they last took the court, which might have inspired the three-set drubbing they dealt High Tech SD on Thursday. The Marauders blew past the Storm 3-0. The Marauders haven't had any issues with the Storm recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive victory against them.

While Mira Mesa won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the third set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-16, 25-20, 25-23.

Dylan Henry paced Mira Mesa's offense, picking up eight kills. Henry got some help from Elias Santos and his 13 assists. Henry was also solid from the service line: he led the team with eight aces.

Mira Mesa pushed their record up to 11-9 with the win, which was their third straight at home. As for High Tech SD, they moved to 7-8 with that loss, which also ended their three-game winning streak.
