For Balboa, this counts as revenge for the 14-10 loss Mission walked away with the last time they faced one another back in April of 2023.

For Mission's part, they saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Salvador Rodriguez, who scored a run and stole two bases while going 1-for-4.

Mission's defeat dropped their record down to 4-7.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Balboa will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Mission at 3:30 p.m. on April 3rd. As for Mission, they will head out on the road to challenge O'Connell at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
