Gallup entered their tilt with Shiprock on Saturday with six consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with seven. They were the clear victors by a 14-0 margin over the Chieftains. The Bengals might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won five matches by seven runs or more this season.

The team relied heavily on Mckenzie Notah, who scored two runs while going 2-for-2. She is also on a roll when it comes to doubles, as she's now hit two or more in each of the last three games she's played. Another player making a difference was Madison Martinez, who went 1-for-4 with five RBI and one double.

Gallup pushed their record up to 9-7 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. The home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.7 runs over those games. As for Shiprock, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-11 record this season.
