Volleyball Recap: Moffat County Comes Up Short

Moffat County lost against North Fork back in September of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Bulldogs lost 3-0 to the Miners. The Bulldogs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-21, 25-20, 25-7.

Bella Vanzo paced Moffat County's offense, picking up six kills. Vanzo got some help from Adrian Profumo and her 11 assists. Profumo was also solid from the service line: she led the team with three aces.

Moffat County's defeat dropped their record down to 2-4. As for North Fork, their win ended a four-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 2-3.

Moffat County wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 2-0 loss against Soroco on the 6th. North Fork has also already played their next contest (against Rangely), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
