Volleyball Recap: Silver Lake Regional Comes Up Short

Silver Lake Regional lost against Hingham back in September and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Lakers lost 3-0 to the Harbormen. The Lakers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

While Silver Lake Regional ultimately came up short, they really made Hingham work, particularly in the first set. The match finished with set scores of 26-24, 25-17, 25-22.

Anna Craft paced Silver Lake Regional's offense, picking up six kills. Craft got some help from Mia Derosa and her 11 assists. Isabella Manikas controlled things from the service line, finishing with seven aces.

Silver Lake Regional's defeat dropped their record down to 7-11. As for Hingham, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 10-8.

Silver Lake Regional wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 3-2 victory against Scituate on the 20th. As for Hingham, they have also already played their next contest, a 3-2 loss against Notre Dame Academy on the 18th.
