Basketball Game Preview: Baldwin Highlanders vs. Trinity Hillers

The Baldwin Highlanders will take on the Trinity Hillers in a holiday battle at at 7:45 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Baldwin's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points every time they've taken the court this season.

Last Tuesday, Baldwin was able to grind out a solid win over Peters Township, taking the game 56-49. The 56-point effort marked the Highlanders' lowest-scoring contest of the season, but in the end it didn't matter.

Meanwhile, Trinity scored the most points they've had this season on Tuesday, but it wasn't enough. They took a 68-63 hit to the loss column at the hands of Thomas Jefferson. The Hillers haven't had much luck with the Jaguars recently, as the team's come up short the last two times they've met.

Trinity's loss dropped their record down to 3-3. As for Baldwin, they pushed their record up to 6-0 with the victory, which was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Baldwin beat Trinity 57-50 when the teams last played back in January. Does Baldwin have another victory up their sleeve, or will Trinity turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
