Soccer Recap: Montbello Gets the Win

While Montbello's victory against Thomas Jefferson wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Warriors narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past the Spartans 2-1. Montbello wouldn't have won without Sergio Venegas, who scored the game-winner.

Montbello's victory was their first in the league, bumping their league record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 6-7-1. As for Thomas Jefferson, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-8-3.
