Basketball Game Preview: Hermiston Bulldogs vs. Hanford Falcons

Hermiston and Hanford are an even 5-5 against one another since January of 2020, but not for long. The Hermiston Bulldogs will welcome the Hanford Falcons at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Given that both suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this game.

Hermiston is probably headed into the matchup with a chip on their shoulder considering Chiawana just ended the team's three-game winning streak on Saturday. They came up short against the Riverhawks, falling 77-54. The loss was the Bulldogs' first of the season.

Meanwhile, Hanford was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 11th straight defeat dating back to last season. They took a hard 80-64 fall against Eisenhower. While the Falcons didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Cadets 24-18 in the first quarter.

Hanford's loss dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Hermiston, their defeat was their first of the season and makes their record 3-1.

Hermiston took their win against Hanford in their previous meeting back in January by a conclusive 73-48. Will Hermiston repeat their success, or does Hanford have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
