Basketball Recap: Spain Park Comes Up Short

Spain Park was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They fell 52-45 to the Jackson Aggies.

Joseph Taylor was nothing short of spectacular for Jackson: he went 7 of 11 en route to 21 points and three steals. Taylor is crushing it when it comes to steals: he's grabbed at least two every time he's taken the court this season. Another player making a difference was Landon Duckworth, who went 6 of 7 on his way to 14 points.

Spain Park's defeat dropped their record down to 5-10. As for Jackson, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

A feisty cat fight will be fought when the Spain Park Jaguars challenge the Clay-Chalkville Cougars at 6:00 p.m. on December 27th. As for Jackson, they and Saraland will face off at 6:00 p.m. on Friday without much rest having both just played.
