Kennedy extended their home winning streak to four games thanks to a huge performance from Jaymar Buton. The Kennedy Thunderbirds came out on top in a nail-biter against the Taft Wildcats on Wednesday, sneaking past 54-52 thanks in part to Buton, who went 6 of 13 on his way to 14 points. He is also on a roll when it comes to shooting accuracy, as he's posted one of at least 45% in the last four games he's played.

Kennedy has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matches, which provided a nice bump to their 10-10 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 52.0 points over those games. As for Taft, their loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 12-10.
