Baseball Recap: Orange County Comes Up Short

Orange County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They fell 6-2 to the Goochland Bulldogs. That's two games in a row now that the Fighting Hornets have lost by exactly four runs.

Orange County's defeat dropped their record down to 7-10. As for Goochland, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 8-9 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Orange County is set to take on their familiar foe Monticello at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Goochland will square off against rival Western Albemarle at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
