Mary Star of the Sea came tearing into Wednesday's matchup with three straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 17 points) and they left with even more momentum. They came out on top against the Chadwick Dolphins by a score of 60-49. For the Stars, this counts as revenge for the 54-40 win the Dolphins walked away with the last time they faced one another back in November of 2021.

Chadwick's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Jai Ratnayake, who posted 11 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Gregory Angulo, who put up five points and seven rebounds.

Mary Star of the Sea has been performing well recently as they've won ten of their last 13 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 14-5 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 56.7 points per game. As for Chadwick, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 8-5.
