Basketball Recap: Connellsville Comes Up Short

Connellsville was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 15th straight loss. They took a blow against the Mt. Lebanon Blue Devils, falling 74-27. The Falcons were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 51-19.

Connellsville's defeat dropped their record down to 2-16. As for Mt. Lebanon, the victory (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 12-6.

Connellsville is taking a road trip to square off against Central Catholic at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Central Catholic has been dominant on offense recently, having racked up an incredible 207 points over their last three contests. Mt. Lebanon has already played their next game, a 64-45 win against Bethel Park on the 1st.
