Red Bud waltzed into their match on Thursday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They blew past the Wesclin Warriors 7-0. The result was nothing new for the Musketeers, who have now won seven games by seven runs or more so far this season.

Red Bud's victory was their eighth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 15-4. The home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.8 runs on average over those games. As for Wesclin, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 6-12.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Red Bud will face off against Marissa/Coulterville at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Wesclin, they will take on Vandalia at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday.
