Baseball Game Preview: Kingsley Stags vs. Harbor Springs Rams

The Kingsley Stags are taking a road trip to face off against the Harbor Springs Rams at 4:15 p.m. on Monday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Kingsley has five straight victories, Harbor Springs has three straight defeats), but none of that matters once you're on the field.

Kingsley is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. They put the hurt on Cheboygan with a sharp 17-2 win on Thursday. The team's explosion at the plate also rewarded the Stags with their most commanding win of the season.

Meanwhile, Harbor Springs didn't have quite enough to beat Charlevoix on Thursday and fell 4-3. That's two games in a row now that the Rams have lost by just one run.

Ben McShannock spent all six innings played on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered four earned runs on five hits and racked up seven Ks.

Harbor Springs' loss dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Kingsley, their victory bumped their record up to 5-3.
