Volleyball Recap: Classical Prep Takes a Loss

Classical Prep's tournament run continued when they took on Land O' Lakes on Friday. The Lions fell 2-0 to the Gators. The Lions have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Their offense was headlined by Madelynn Zimmermn and Megan Carr, who picked up three kills apiece. They got some help from Anabel Christianson and her seven assists.

Jada Christian was the offensive standout of the contest as she had 17 assists and six digs.

Classical Prep's defeat dropped their record down to 8-6. As for Land O' Lakes, they have been performing well recently as they've won ten of their last 12 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-7 record this season.

Classical Prep wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 2-1 victory against Gulf on the 26th. As for Land O' Lakes, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against Hudson on the 26th.
