Baseball Recap: King Comes Up Short

King was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their tenth straight loss. They lost 10-4 to the Robstown Cottonpickers. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Brahmas of the 8-1 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2024.

King saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Eric Cason, who scored a run while going 1-for-3.

King's loss dropped their record down to 0-16-1. As for Robstown, they now have a winning record of 10-9.

Looking ahead, King will square off against Calallen at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Calallen will roll in looking for their 20th straight victory, something King surely won't give up without a fight. As for Robstown, they will face off against Jones at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
