The Lansing Christian Pilgrims will be staying on the road to face off against the Corunna Cavaliers at 6:15 p.m. Corunna took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on Lansing Christian, who comes in off a win.

Having struggled with three losses in a row, Lansing Christian finally turned things around against Saranac on Monday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Redhawks , sneaking past 3-2.

Meanwhile, Corunna didn't have quite enough to beat Clio on Thursday and fell 3-2. The Cavaliers have struggled against the Mustangs recently, as their game on Thursday was their sixth consecutive lost matchup.

Corunna took Clio into a fifth set but they suffered a heartbreaking five-point loss. The final score came out to 25-12, 18-25, 24-26, 25-16, 15-10.

Despite their defeat, Corunna saw several players rise to the challenge and make noteworthy plays. Maddie Brown, who had 13 digs and five aces, was perhaps the best of all. The dominant performance gave Brown a new career-high in aces.

The win got Lansing Christian back to even at 3-3. As for Corunna, their loss dropped their record down to 8-7.
