It was a good run, but West Jefferson unfortunately witnessed the end of their five-game winning streak on Tuesday. They fell 72-65 to the Firth Cougars. The Panthers were probably out for revenge after losing 68-57 to them when the teams met back in February of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

West Jefferson now has a losing record at 5-6. As for Firth, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 8-4.

West Jefferson will take on Salmon at 7:30 p.m. on January 21st. West Jefferson knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past six games -- so hopefully Salmon likes a good challenge. Firth has already played their next matchup (against North Fremont), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
