Basketball Recap: Windsor Locks Raiders vs. Ellington Knights        
        
		
            
 If the Windsor Locks Raiders were feeling good  off their  48-16 takedown of the Stafford Bulldogs last Saturday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. Windsor Locks lost to the Knights at home  by a decisive  49-34 margin on Tuesday. While losing is never fun, Windsor Locks can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage  in MaxPreps' Connecticut basketball rankings  (they are ranked 115th, while the Knights are ranked 21st).
 Despite the loss, Windsor Locks still got an impressive performance from   Jasmine Hurdle, who  scored 18 points along with four  steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points  Hurdle has scored all season.
 Windsor Locks has  traveled a rocky road recently having  lost three of their last four contests,  which put a noticeable dent in their 6-9 record this season. As for Ellington, the  victory (which was their ninth in a row) raised their record to 13-3.
 Both  teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Windsor Locks will take on the Mighty Tigers at 5:30  p.m.  on Thursday. Windham RVT will be looking to extend their current four-game winning streak. As for Ellington, they will look to defend their home court  on Friday against the Patriots at 6:45  p.m. Coventry is coming into the  contest hot, having won their last four games.
