Baseball Recap: Las Plumas Comes Up Short

Las Plumas was the 5-2 winner over Lassen when they last played one another last Tuesday, but their luck changed this time around. Las Plumas lost 12-6 to Lassen on Friday. That's two games in a row now that the Thunderbirds have lost by exactly six runs.

Colton Rosauer made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and scored a run and stole a base while going 3-for-4. That's the most hits he has posted since back in April of 2024.

This is the second loss in a row for Las Plumas and nudges their season record down to 2-5-2. As for Lassen, their victory was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 6-4.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Las Plumas beat Lassen by a score of 3-0 later that day.
