Volleyball Recap: Wisner-Pilger Comes Up Short

Wisner-Pilger lost against St. Paul back in October of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Gators fell 2-0 to the Wildcats. The Gators have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

The final score came out to 25-13, 25-21.

Jesa Montgomery paced Wisner-Pilger's offense, picking up six kills. Montgomery got some help from Ramsey Arduser and her 14 assists. Chesney Ruskamp controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Keislyn Poss was a one-woman wrecking crew For St. Paul. as she had 30 digs and three aces. Poss is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had ten or more in each of the last 20 games she's played.

Wisner-Pilger's loss dropped their record down to 10-14. As for St. Paul, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-8 record this season.

Wisner-Pilger has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 victory against Neligh-Oakdale on the 11th. As for St. Paul, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-0 win against Wynot on the 11th.
