Volleyball Game Preview: Sun Valley Vanguards vs. Chichester Eagles

Sun Valley is on a five-game streak of home losses, and Chichester a five-game streak of away losses dating back to last season. However, someone's due for a change in luck on Monday. The Sun Valley Vanguards will be playing at home against the Chichester Eagles at 5:30 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

On Thursday, Sun Valley came up short against Ridley and fell 3-1.

Sun Valley started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. The match finished with set scores of 22-25, 25-16, 25-16, 25-16.

Meanwhile, Chichester lost 3-0 to Oxford on Wednesday.

Chichester took the loss but they managed to make steady progress, increasing their score in every set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-10, 25-13, 25-19.

Sun Valley's defeat dropped their record down to 2-13. As for Chichester, their loss dropped their record down to 0-3.

Everything went Sun Valley's way against Chichester in their previous matchup back in September of 2023, as Sun Valley made off with a 3-0 victory. Do the Vanguards have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Eagles turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
