Softball Game Preview: Rockledge Raiders vs. Eau Gallie Commodores

The Rockledge Raiders will face off against the Eau Gallie Commodores at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.

Rockledge came into their game on Friday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They lost 12-2 to Melbourne. The game marked the Raiders' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Meanwhile, it may have taken eight innings to finish the job, but Eau Gallie ultimately got the result they hoped for on Thursday. They had just enough and edged out Harmony 5-4. The Commodores haven't had any issues with the Longhorns recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive victory against them.

The team relied heavily on Hannah Leech, who scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-2. What's more, she posted two hits, the most she's had since back in March of 2024.

Eau Gallie's win bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Rockledge, their loss dropped their record down to 3-2.
