Pioneer Charter School of Science lost against Neighborhood House Charter in their previous head to head back in January of 2023, too, but the margin this time around was much wider than the 32-25 score last time.
Neighborhood House Charter's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Sayah Dorvilier, who scored 16 points. The contest was Dorvilier's third in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Keimoni Johnson, who scored 11 points.
Pioneer Charter School of Science bumped their record down to 0-3 with that defeat, which was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season. That rough patch could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 19.8 points per game. As for Neighborhood House Charter, the victory for they keeps them at an undefeated 6-0.
Pioneer Charter School of Science will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Boston Prep at 4:15 p.m. As for Neighborhood House Charter, they will head out on the road to face off against Salem Academy Charter at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
