Snowflake waltzed into their game on Friday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They strolled past the Combs Coyotes with points to spare, taking the game 55-41. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Lobos also won the last time the pair played back in January of 2016.

Despite the loss, Combs still got an impressive performance from Logan Tuckfield, who posted 11 points. Tuckfield has been hot, having also posted two or more steals the last seven times he's played. Another player making a difference was Quinmetris Cunningham, who put up eight points and seven rebounds.

Snowflake now has a winning record of 5-4. As for Combs, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-5.

Snowflake won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Florence at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday. Florence will roll in looking for their 13th straight victory, something Snowflake surely won't give up without a fight. As for Combs, they will venture away from home to square off against Poston Butte at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
