Preview: Pendleton Bulldogs vs. Prince Avenue Christian Wolverines
The Pendleton Bulldogs will be home for the holidays to greet the Prince Avenue Christian Wolverines at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Given that the pair suffered a loss in their last game, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this match.
Pendleton pushed their score all the way to 55 on Thursday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They fell to Wren 61-55. Pendleton has not had much luck with Wren recently, as the team's come up short the last eight times they've met.
Despite their loss, Pendleton saw several players rise to the challenge and make noteworthy plays. Luke Gray, who scored 17 points, was perhaps the best of all. The contest was Gray's third in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Brice Bolt, who scored 14 points.
Meanwhile, Prince Avenue Christian suffered a tough 59-37 loss at the hands of Banks County on Tuesday. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Prince Avenue Christian has scored all season.
Pendleton now has a losing record at 4-5. As for Prince Avenue Christian, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-4.
