Basketball Recap: Windom Puts Losing Streak Behind Them

Windom came into Tuesday's matchup having lost five straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They managed a 73-69 win over the Pipestone Arrows on Tuesday. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 80-66 back in December of 2024.

Windom's victory ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 8-9. As for Pipestone, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 5-10.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Windom will take on Redwood Valley at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Windom's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last 13 games. As for Pipestone, they are taking a road trip to face off against Jackson County Central at 7:30 p.m. on January 28th.
