After only two runs in their last game, Lake Zurich made sure to put some runs up on the board against Zion-Benton on Monday. The Bears put the hurt on the Zee-Bees with a sharp 13-2 win. Considering the Bears have won seven matches by more than six runs this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.

Lake Zurich is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-7 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.3 runs over those games. As for Zion-Benton, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-15.

Lake Zurich will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Zee-Bees: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:45 p.m. on Tuesday.
