Soccer Recap: Jesuit Takes a Loss

Jesuit lost against Davis Sr. back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Jesuit Marauders fell 3-1 to the Davis Sr. Blue Devils. While losing is never fun, the Marauders can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 296th, while the Blue Devils are ranked 40th).

Jesuit's loss dropped their record down to 4-6. As for Davis Sr., they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine contests, which provided a nice bump to their 13-3 record this season.

The two teams are set to take part in some playoff action in their next matches. Jesuit will take on Turlock at 6:00 p.m. on February 19th. As for Davis Sr., they will challenge Chavez at 6:00 p.m. on February 19th. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Chavez comes in on five and Davis Sr. on four.
