Soccer Game Preview: Platt vs. Bristol Central

The Platt Panthers will head out to face off against the Bristol Central Rams at 3:45 p.m. on Friday. Bristol Central is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 2.5 goals per game this season.

Coming off of a narrow one-goal win over Seymour, Platt left no doubt about the outcome versus Bloomfield on Tuesday. The Panthers were the clear victors by a 4-0 margin over the Warhawks. The high-scoring performance was a welcome turnaround for Platt's offense, which had struggled in the games prior.

Meanwhile, after soaring to five goals the game before, Bristol Central was a bit more limited in their contest on Tuesday. They came up short against Northwest Catholic, falling 4-1.

Platt's victory bumped their record up to 2-0-1. As for Bristol Central, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-2.
