Soccer Game Preview: Moses Lake vs. Wenatchee

Moses Lake hasn't had much luck against Wenatchee recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Mavericks will welcome the Panthers at 6:00 p.m.

Friday just wasn't the day for Moses Lake's offense. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of Davis on Friday.

Meanwhile, Wenatchee waltzed into their contest on Friday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They came within a single goal of losing the streak, but they secured a 2-1 W against the Rams. Given Wenatchee's advantage in MaxPreps' Washington soccer rankings (they are ranked 16th, while West Valley are ranked 187th) , the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Wenatchee's victory was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 8-1. The home wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 20 goals over those five matches. As for Moses Lake, they now have a losing record of 6-7.
