Soccer Recap: IDEA Montopolis Picks Up Fifth Consecutive Win

IDEA Montopolis waltzed into their matchup on Wednesday with four straight wins... but they left with five. They never let the Wayside: Sci-Tech Ravens get on the board and left with a 5-0 victory. IDEA Montopolis might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six games by three goals or more this season.

They hit Wayside: Sci-Tech with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Ali Abubaker (2), Cesar Leiva, Luis Barrientos, and Adrian Rodriguez.

IDEA Montopolis' win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 7-1. Those victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up one goal over those four contests. As for Wayside: Sci-Tech, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Coming up, IDEA Montopolis will square off against Harmony School Of Excellence-Austin at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday. IDEA Montopolis knows how to get goals on the board -- the team has finished with four goals or more in their past five matches -- so hopefully Harmony School Of Excellence-Austin likes a good challenge.
