Basketball Game Preview: Riverside Rangers vs. Ysleta Indians

Riverside has gone 10-0 against Ysleta recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Riverside Rangers will look to defend their home court against the Ysleta Indians at 7:30 p.m. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Riverside has seven straight victories, Ysleta has ten straight defeats), but none of that matters once you're on the court.

Last Tuesday, Riverside really took it to San Elizario for the full four quarters, racking up a 68-34 win. The Rangers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won nine contests by 21 points or more this season.

Meanwhile, Ysleta lost 40-20 to Mountain View on Tuesday.

Riverside's victory was their eighth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 18-8. Those victories came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 25.4 points per game. As for Ysleta, their loss dropped their record down to 5-18.

Everything came up roses for Riverside against Ysleta in their previous matchup on January 7th, as the team secured an 82-9 win. In that game, Riverside amassed a halftime lead of 54-4, an impressive feat they'll look to repeat on Friday.
