After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Lexington, Franklin was happy to have turned things around on Friday. Everything went their way against the Rogers Eagles as they made off with a 3-0 victory. The Lions haven't had any issues with the Eagles recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive win against them.
Franklin's victory bumped their record up to 8-19. As for Rogers, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 9-12.
We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Franklin will take on rival Rockdale at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Rogers is set to square off against their familiar foe C.H. Yoe at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
