Recap: Great Oak Wolfpack vs. King Wolves
Even though the Great Oak Wolfpack have not done well against the King Wolves recently (they were 0-4 in their previous four matchups), they didn't let the past get in their way on Friday. Great Oak came out on top against King by a score of 67-56. Having run the score up that high, both teams probably have some extra defensive drills coming up.
Despite the loss, King still got an impressive performance from Donovan Holloway, who went 6 for 9 from beyond the arc en route to 18 points and 2 assists. Jeremiah Davis was another key contributor, scoring 12 points.
The win makes it two in a row for Great Oak and bumps their season record up to 4-2. As for King, they have been struggling recently, as they've lost three of their last four games, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-6 record this season.
Great Oak is on the road again on Saturday and play against Redlands East Valley at 1:30 p.m. on December 2nd. Redlands East Valley knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with flashy point totals in its past seven matches -- so hopefully Great Oak likes a good challenge. As for King, they will take on Elsinore at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.
