Basketball Game Preview: South Gray Rebels vs. Meade Buffaloes

The South Gray Rebels will head out to take on the Meade Buffaloes at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. South Gray will be strutting in after a victory while Meade will be coming in after a defeat.

South Gray had to skate by with only a two-point margin when they last took the court, which might have inspired the 20-point drubbing they dealt Southwestern Heights on Friday. South Gray put the hurt on Southwestern Heights with a sharp 69-49 win. The Rebels have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won eight matchups by 20 points or more this season.

Meanwhile, Meade was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap on Friday as they fell 52-48 to South Central.

South Gray is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight contests, which provided a nice bump to their 14-4 record this season. As for Meade, their loss dropped their record down to 12-6.

South Gray beat Meade 68-59 in their previous meeting back in February of 2024. The rematch might be a little tougher for South Gray since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
