Fort Mill extended their winning streak to five games dating back to last season thanks to a huge performance from Broden Mitcheson. The Yellow Jackets breezed past the Lancaster Bruins to the tune of 38-7 on Friday with plenty of help from Mitcheson, who rushed for 128 yards and a pair of scores on only 15 carries. With that strong performance, he is now averaging an impressive 105.5 rushing yards per game.

Fort Mill's victory bumped their record up to 4-0. As for Lancaster, they are on a five-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-4.

Looking ahead, Fort Mill is taking a road trip to square off against Catawba Ridge at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. The two teams have allowed few points on average (the Yellow Jackets 8.5, the Copperheads 14.2) so any points scored will be well earned. As for Lancaster, they will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Richland Northeast at 7:30 p.m. on the 26th.
