Baseball Recap: LeRoy Takes a Loss

LeRoy entered their matchup against Tri-Valley on Monday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. The Panthers came up short against the Vikings, falling 14-4. The Panthers were not able to make up for their loss to the Vikings from their previous meeting back in April of 2024.

LeRoy saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kobe Brent, who went 1-for-2 with two RBI and one double. Bo Zeleznik also deserves some recognition as he brought in his first RBI of the season.

LeRoy's defeat dropped their record down to 5-3. As for Tri-Valley, their victory was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 8-1-1.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. LeRoy will face off against rival Fieldcrest at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Tri-Valley is set to square off against their familiar foe Ridgeview at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
