The Chouteau-Mazie Wildcats will head out on the road to square off against the Pocola Indians at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Chouteau-Mazie comes in still looking for their first win of the season.

Chouteau-Mazie's offense might be in the hot seat on Thursday considering what happened against Haskell on Friday. They took a blow against the Haymakers, falling 49-0. The shutout was out of character for the Wildcats seeing as the last time the team failed to score was back in September.

Meanwhile, you're bound to get a positive result if you outscore your opponent every quarter and that's exactly how it played out for Pocola on Thursday. Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that they blew Hulbert out of the water with a 60-8 final score. With the Indians ahead 36-0 at the half, the game was all but over already.

Chouteau-Mazie's loss dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Pocola, their victory bumped their record up to 4-2.

Chouteau-Mazie might still be hurting after the 62-36 defeat they got from Pocola in their previous matchup back in October of 2024. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of the Indians' Jaseir Posey, who threw for 526 yards and six TDs while picking up 19.5 yards per attempt.
