Soccer Game Preview: Mishawaka Marian vs. South Bend Saint Joseph

The Mishawaka Marian Knights will square off against the South Bend Saint Joseph Huskies at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, these teams will really light up the scoreboard.

Mishawaka Marian's defense heads into the matchup hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Tuesday. They were the clear victors by a 7-0 margin over New Prairie. Milana Micola had the honor of scoring the game-winner for Mishawaka Marian.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask South Bend Saint Joseph). They were the clear victors by an 8-0 margin over South Bend Riley on Tuesday. South Bend Saint Joseph haven't had any issues with South Bend Riley recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive victory against them.

South Bend Saint Joseph now has a winning record of 8-7. As for Mishawaka Marian, their win bumped their record up to 9-4-2.
