After a string of three wins, Blue Ridge's good fortune finally ran out on Wednesday. They lost 8-2 to Arthur-Lovington/Atwood-Hammond. Blue Ridge was not able to make up for their defeat to Arthur-Lovington/Atwood-Hammond from their previous meeting back in April of 2024.

Addison Roos was cooking despite her team's loss, going a perfect 3-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one double. Another player making a difference was Carsyn Stiger, who went 1-for-3 with one home run.

Blue Ridge's loss dropped their record down to 6-8. As for Arthur-Lovington/Atwood-Hammond, their record now sits at 7-11.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Blue Ridge will head out to challenge Delavan at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Arthur-Lovington/Atwood-Hammond, they will venture away from home to take on Tri-County [Kansas/Shiloh/Oakland] at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Knights are facing the Titans at the right time seeing as the Titans are stuck on a five-game losing streak.
