Recap: Sherman Oaks CES Knights vs. USC Hybrid Trojans
The Sherman Oaks CES Knights managed to keep up with the USC Hybrid Trojans until halftime on Friday, but things quickly went downhill from there. Sherman Oaks CES suffered a tough 48-26 defeat at the hands of USC Hybrid. Sherman Oaks CES just can't catch a break and has now endured three losses in a row.
Sherman Oaks CES's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performance. Perhaps the best among them was Daniel Truong, who rushed for 120 yards and a touchdown on only six carries. Truong was no stranger to the big play, turning on the jets for a run that went for 54 yards. Fudail Burns was another key contributor, picking up 90 receiving yards and a touchdown.
Sherman Oaks CES's loss dropped their record down to 4-6. As for USC Hybrid, their victory bumped their record up to 4-4.
Sherman Oaks CES does not have any more games scheduled as of now. USC Hybrid will square off against Fulton at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Fulton is also coming in off of a big victory, so somebody is in for a big reversal of fortune.
