Empire extended their home winning streak to six games dating back to last season thanks to a huge performance from Madison Gardner. The Ravens came out on top against Mountain View by a score of 3-1 on Wednesday thanks in part to Gardner, who had 11 digs and four aces. She is also on a roll when it comes to assists, as she's now posted 12 or more in each of the last four games she's played.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-23, 21-25, 25-17, 25-21.

Meanwhile, Pusch Ridge Christian Academy was able to grind out a solid victory over Mountain View on Monday, taking the game 3-1. The win continues a trend for the Lions in their matchups with the Mountain Lions: they've now won four in a row.

Pusch Ridge Christian Academy's victory bumped their record up to 12-8. As for Empire, their win bumped their record up to 10-7.
